Our Story
12 cows, 35 chickens, 5 pigs, 2 dogs, and 3 cat! That's our farm. Was it our dream? Not sure. Was it the best thing that ever happened to our family - ABSOLUTELY!
Our dream to own "a little land" unfolded slowly. An acre in the country became a couple acres in a neighborhood. Life was sweet, or so we thought.
When the opportunity to purchase a 30 acre farm (with lots of barns) came up, it was tempting. TOO tempting. So a leap of faith and a LOT of hard work was all it took. And here we are.
Watson Meadows Farm raises hormone and antibiotic free livestock. We have freezer beef, pork, fresh eggs, and seasonal garden vegetables.
It's a family event, and we all have a special touch to add. Jackson and his Mom are woodworkers. They make and sell handmade charcuterie boards, necklace boards, and other wood products. Owen is our butcher and cook. He loves making jams and jellies. Isaac is our handyman. He's in charge of feeding, welding, and fixing things. And then there's Dad - quality control, motivator of teenagers and scolder of dogs!

It all began and ran on faith, as Jackson thrived at the Jackson Center for Conductive Education in Mooresville, Indiana. He's spent many years there being encouraged to be a problem solver and develop an independent self-motivated spirit fostering determination, independence, and creativity.
Jackson graduated from the Jackson Center in May of 2021. This made him the first ever graduate of the Jackson Center. Post graduation Jackson has loved continuing to share his artistic abilities with those in his community. The handmade item you will receive was crafted from Indiana walnut trees, found on the family farm. Jackson planned, stained, and prepared the piece that you have received, right down to hand picking out the custom hardware.
